Nearly 30 million people in over 50 cities across the globe have seen KÖRPERWELTEN. Now, nine years since its first stop, KÖRPERWELTEN returns to Cologne. Installed in a temporary museum – the Körperwelten-Dom – Dr. Gunther von Hagens and Dr. Angelina Whalley present a new exhibition concept: KÖRPERWELTEN – Eine Herzenssache (BODY WORLDS & The Story of the Heart).The exhibition contains a number of spectacular plastinates and takes us on an exciting journey through the human body, during which each organ system is explained and common diseases are displayed.The exhibition wants to encourage every visitor to live a heart-conscious life and make the human body a personal matter of the heart.
