KÖRPERWELTEN (BODY WORLDS) back in Switzerland after 10 years.
On its world tour, KÖRPERWELTEN will stop over in Zurich in the summer of 2009. The newly conceived exhibition allows visitors a profoundly moving encounter with their inner body, a self-reflection without a mirror, which hitherto has only been available to medical professionals.
After more than 29 million people have seen KÖRPERWELTEN in Europe, Asia, and North America, the world’s most successful traveling exhibition returns to Switzerland. The exhibition that captured its Swiss audience in Basle in 1998 has been rejuvenated and specialized. KÖRPERWELTEN is conceptualized as a journey of self-discovery: More than 200 human specimens show the visitor how complex and aesthetic but also vulnerable and fragile our body is.
KÖRPERWELTEN are the only anatomical exhibitions that stem from an established Body Donation Program.

Audio Guides are available for rental in English and German at the exhibition entrance. Interactive by design, the personal audio guide allows you to experience the exhibition according to your interest and movement through the exhibition. Specimens on display are assigned a number and have corresponding audio narratives that can be accessed at random.
KÖRPERWELTEN does not offer guided tours for groups.
